In glass transportation, damage-free delivery depends on five elements working together:
1. Purpose-built vehicles
Glass travels upright, not flat. A-frame equipped, air-suspension vehicles minimise vibration.
2. Proper securing
Ratchet straps, corner protectors and separator blocks secure each panel independently.
3. Trained crew
Loading and unloading is when most damage happens. A trained crew using vacuum lifting equipment eliminates that risk.
4. Route and weather planning
Road conditions, bends and ramps are analysed before departure.
5. Reporting and handover
The load is inspected together on delivery and a handover report is signed; the whole process is documented end to end.
